The project’s first face-to-face meeting took place last Thursday, June 17. Due to the COVID pandemic, a face-to-face meeting has been delayed for more than a year since the project began (June 1, 2020). This was the fourth official U-MOVE meeting, and all project members were present.
The meeting took place at the School of Civil Engineering of the Polytechnic University of Madrid. Andrés Monzón, Óscar Martínez, Marta García, Andrea Alonso and Daniel Casquero attended the meeting in person. Joao Abreu, Elena López and Alba Ramírez were also online.
Progress on work packages WP1, WP2, WP3, WP4, and WP6 was presented at the meeting. Specifically, Oscar Martínez and Daniel Casquero presented the document about indicators for measuring the utility of travel apps. Andrea Alonso and Joao Abreu presented their research on the case studies of Madrid and Lisbon, respectively. Elena López and David Lois gave an update on work packages WP3 and WP4, which are responsible for survey design and pilots, and are scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2021. Finally, Marta Garcia presented a publication strategy for the medium term.
